I'm with OAts, mine has been hardwired in, there were no kits a year plus ago, no that there are no plans on hooking up for the chimes, I like it just the way it is.

No, I don't have onstar or the bose system. Just like silverbonnie said the GMRC-04 is the harness to use if you are like me no onstar or bose. The best advice I can give is to just give metra a call and tell them what you have and what you want to do. The know everything when it comes to wiring. I have been doing stereos in my car for the last 12 years and I have always used metra they are who you need to call. Their web address is Metraonline.com.

bloomingdale isnt to far from here ... i think like 30-45 mins maybe the most an hour ... should meet up sumtime ... maybe if i get my harness soon you can help me with the install :P

Sure I'd help, I have that steering wheel control interface and it'* shitty, they don't last and go bad, my first one lasted couple months, the second one died and I've just left it dead.
