they will all function.. thats all i was saying game, chimes arent that useful anyway... 2000+ have auto on and off on the headlighs anyway.. and you shouldnt be leaving your keys in the ignition... lol
I hard wired my headunit in and it works just fine, i dont give 2 craps about the chimes myself..

I have the "dock and lock" radio, which I assume is what you mean. There isn't anything to plug in, you just pop the radio into the opening and it docks up. The interface does work perfectly for that, didn't have to cut into any factory wires. However finding the right antenna adapter has been a problem so far.

As a side note, the interface actually has a speaker on board that sounds the chimes, rather than through the speakers like the factory headunit.

hmmm i was told the same thing and the guy was ordering that harness from metra he said none of my chimes and sum other little things wouldnt work and that he would have to wire the factory headunit to the trunk of my car and cut up my wires and that if i ever wanted to put the factory headunit back in it would be impossible?
