Default 92 sse stereo question

Is it possibile to install the gain adjustment from a sse to a se?I know the wiring harness is different in a se but can it be wired to work.I already have the factory cd player from the sse installed.

No. The Gain control is part of the SSE/i'* Amplified speaker system, and will not work. The CD player you have is a standard Pontiac cd player, and has nothing to do with the radio, just the amp and speakers.

Not impossible, but it'* not plug and play. Mine is spliced into the base harness, and an extra set of leads run to the rear for the 6x9 woofers.

Your rear speakers aren't dual voice coil, either. The amp powers ONLY one of the coils in each rear speaker.

Moving to the right section.....
