Default Torque Steer SSEI

okay...sorting out a few things on this old girl (new to my daughter).....I'm a BMW/Audi guy and my daily driver is a B7 RS4, tuned to about 480bhp with AWD.

This Bonneville will spin the front tires of the car through a few gears.....however it pulls side to side like crazy and very unstable when getting on this car. Could this just be torque steer pulling one way or the other that I'm not used to with my current AWD?

I guess i should take a look at bushings and stuff underneath the front end.

The rear end squirrel feeling was dramatically fixed when I replaced both rear air shocks, what a difference!!

I'm almost tempted to put a little time and research into this car to make it a little attractive and fun to drive...??? again, this is for my daughter in college.

How old are the tires or the DOT number?

I agree with the concern on the tires. Even the most heavily modified Bonnevilles only really had issues in the first 2 gears.

They are prone to torque steer due to the unequal length CV shafts, however what you describe does sound excessive, unless your feet are made of lead and mash the accelerator through the floor at every start.
