After taking apart the dashboard and looking for the problem almost all day i finally fixed the problem the problem was that one of the wires in the dashboard was loose i guess causing it to malfunction but all is well now and thanks everyone for giving me tips and suggestions on what it was.rkr

glad you got it figured out and that it was easy and cheap but time consuming however better you take the time to look in there than the stealership ouch that would have hurt glad you have it working now
