The 715 is the proper belt. If your using a stock belt with a 3.4 its too loose.

I've been swapping belts on SC for a long time and there'* no way the 715 belt is going on without forcing it with some leverage tool or something, which will scratch up my pulley. So there'* nothing in between a 725 and a 715? Even in a non Gatorback?

Please trust me when I say the 715 is the proper belt with a 3.4 on a S2 Bonneville. It is meant to be tight. Try wrapping the sc pulley first and then force it on to the tensioner.

That'* what I was going to say. Wrap it around the SC pulley first, then slip it over the idler pulley. It'* much easier.
