Just dropped my car off at the dealership for some transmisson issues today and it turns out that I have no overdrive. I was just wondering, is it common thing for the bonnevilles? I have just over 82, 000 miles on the car.

Yes it does sound like a common failure but usually at a little higher mileage and usually with the SC engine.

Yep, it'* common. 4th gear clutch hub if I remember right. The mileage is a little early though. Brace yourself - mine was $1500 to fix and $4500 for a new tranny at the stealership.
