So after clicking on this thread, i realized my oil pressure is pegged at max and has never came down except on engine shutoff/starts. So how do i fix this?

Yours is probably your oil sending unit if it just pegged out.

Frankly, I don't think you should be driving it with a known LIM gasket failure. Way too risky IMO.

You should really get that gasket changed now.

It'* not a confirmed LIM failure, but the odds are leaning that way. I've been changing my oil, I changed it 3 times this week so far. I kind of have no choice but to drive it right now, i have to be able to get to work, and get my daughter to school.
