I have a '00 SSEi with 110k miles. Had a bad LIM gasket issue. Crankcase filled with coolant. Did complete LIM gasket repair, replaced radiator, flushed crankcase 3 times with new oil and filter each time. Used Seafoam during first 2 flushes. Car runs fine for about 10 - 15 minutes and starts to over heat. Replaced thermostat twice. Oil pressure fluctuates from 10 to max while warming up. Assuming that a bearing or something is damaged and engine will need a rebuild. Plan to sell car and want to get some advise on what a fair value of the car would be. Car also needs Steering wheel position sensor and drivers side inner CV joint replaced. I live in the California. SF South Bay area. Any feedback would be appreciated.
ok other than mechanical issues what is the condition of the rest of the car? interior exterior body and such? does it have hood herpes/. fuel door rot? water leaks? that would help us help you figure out what a fair price would be.

Rest of the car is good to excellent shape. Paint is in good shape for a 11 year old car. No rot anywhere. Seal on sunroof isn't the great but it does not leak. Always garaged in California.
according to KBB in fair condition would be $4500 but since the motor is in possible need of replacement and the other things if people are not doing the fixes themselves i would shoot for maybe $2800 for her honestly. if i had the cash right now i would take her off your hands and have some fun with her. but this is in no way saying sell her for that just an estimate of what i would think it to be worth if i were to buy it

With a bad engine, getting even $2000 might be hard. Most people don't want to buy a car and fix it. $2800 is a fair price, but getting that will be hard. Should be able to pick up a salvage yard engine for $800 or so. Rent a engine hoist, and spend a weekend swapping the engine. If you can turn a wrench and a screwdriver, you can change a engine.
