Default To Sell or Not To Sell?

I'm sure most of you are aware that I am trying to sell my '95 and buy a 2000. Today the person who is going to auction for me to get the 2000 offered me (roughly) about $3k for my car. Remember this is in Canadian $$...My car has 229,000 kms on it (143k miles) and is an SE. I've had it up for sale since February, and this price is a bit low I think...but I'm not sure if i should take it or not. It will be just enough for my downpayment on the new car.
Any input?

Default ummm..............

I don't know Tam, I don't think it'* a good idea gett'n rid of a car that'* already paid for...... I'd suggest just save'n up more money towards a down payment, that way u'll have your old car to drive around and ur new will have less miles on it. I'd keep tha car for a lot of reasons, what if somethin' happens and U can't afford to keep tha "space shuttle"? Ud be out of $$$ and an ol reliabe car, or like I mentiond earlier U can keep tha miles down on Ur new school by drivin tha older one back and forth to work and other places; these are reasons to consider I think. I wouldn't give up a car that'* paid for though, unless U just wanna get rid of it.

It'* Mista got a new car oh no! tha altenator just went out in my 00+ bonne and I sold my old one to get this one
