had a mechanic look at the bonnie a few weeks back. the key way spun on the end of the cam giving the out of time performance that had me scratching my head! new cam from rockauto$400, used motor from salvage yard $500. the search begins. have never seen a cam do that before.

Gotta be a first time for a cam to do that.

If you are going to replace the cam, you may as well upgrade. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
