2002 SLE Bonne speed sensor??
I have read all the posts. The issue with the wheel bearing speed sensor was described a little different than mine, so I am hoping I dont need to replace another wheel bearing.
I have the ANTI-LOCK light on, the BRAKE light on, and the TRAC OFF light on. Traction control is disabled and I assume the antilock is too. I DO NOT have a service engine light on-This is what differs from the posts about speed sensors in the hub.
Is there another speed sensor...like on the tranny, that could be my cause? I saw AutoZone sells speed sensors for my car. Two to choose from. One costs $15 and the other was $45.
Can someone tell me where the replacement speed sensors I saw from autozone goes?
Also, if it is a hub issue, is their a way of figuring out which wheel it is?
Awesome posts everyone. Got lots of tips especialy water leaks from inside door fix.
Thanks all
Steve

The most likely cause is a bad wheel speed sensor within the hub. The only way to find out which one is with a Tech II or another scanner that can read the TC and ABS system. I can' say for sure without knowing what you found, but that is likely the sensor for vehicle speed, which will not figure in here.

I had the same exact problem as you after i had already changed both my hubs 6 months before. You have to take your car to the dealer with a Tech II scanner and they will be able to tell you which side is giving the codes.
Turns out my speed sensor in the drivers side hub was bad, so, since the hubs were still under warranty, i had the hub replaced for free. Haven't had any problems since. I don't think there are any other speed sensors on our cars besides the ones in the hubs.

Are your replacement hubs of high quality. I learned the hard way. Went through 4 (2 mechanical failures; 2 electrical failures) before I gave up and purchased quality ones. You certainly DO get what you pay for.
