So far only two problems for me. One of the trunk springs broke and was replaced by the dealer within the month. I also had the DIC stop working, could not reset the DIC field values. This took a year to replace. I got fed up and contacted GM and it was fixed in 45 days after contacting them.
The good news is I received a free oil change and transmission flush. I will use them both when I take the car in for an oil change. At that point the car will be 2 years old and have close to 24K miles. I received a free oil change over the Thanksgiving Holiday as part of a GM Customer Appreciation program. There was no extra cost for Mobil 1 synthetic oil.

My understanding is that they used a primer not compatible with the aluminum hood. So the correct fix is to fully strip it.
Can anyone confirm or blow holes in this rumor?
