Default Strange surge

Coming off an on-ramp last night, I had the Perform Shift pushed. Floored it at about 33, shifted into first, gidy-up. Shifted into second, went FLAT!! RPMs eventually went up to 3500, then the power came on smoothly and seemed stronger than usual. The tank was nearly full, so even if my new strainer was on wrong, I'd still get fuel. I can't figure it out.

I would think fuel related. Do you have a scantool? Have you had a chance to take o2 readings?

A side question; how are those 24lb injectors working for you? Had a scantool on since you installed them?

I've been considering a scantool recently. Or a laptop if I can find a cheap program that will allow use with a USB connector.

Watching my A/F gauge, I haven't seen it go lean on the top end since I put in the new pump. But the originals are getting put in when thay come back, anyway.

Oh, I wasn't looking at my gauge when this happened, so I don't know what was going on at that time.
