is they a way to adjust it? cuz it has alot of play.

Maybe just replace the piece that locks it? I'm not to familiar with it on these cars. If it'* anything like my pick up, it'* a steel rod that goes through a steel gear kinda looking thing. If it'* used a lot, then I could see it wearing out?

No way to adjust it. The parts are cheap, But I wouldn't go through the hell of disassembling the column to fix it.
