06 chev colorado steering lock

With the key out is it steering wheel supposed to lock? Haven't driven it in 4 or 5 years and can't remember, isn't locking today I noticed, wife'* car. No other issues with key/steering wheel, TIA.

Sometimes, it takes a turn of the wheel to lock it. But normally, you do have about 10-15* of turn before they do lock.

not all vehicle lock. But like mike said some you gotta turn a little for it to hit the lock

Generally, if the lock cylinder is in the column, it locks....if it is in the dash, it doesn't....
