Fluids in the pan dont' burn until they hit the crank..and actually then it foams from being churned..and causes the oil pump to push air and poof..no oil the bearings head south.

If he'* seeing smoke..it'* something getting into the cylinders. The most likely way is from a lower intake manifold gasket.

Oil did not look bad, poured out brown, did not seem to be milky. I filled it up with fresh oil and a new filter. I let it sit at idle for about 10 mins, drove the car for about 30 mins, and seen a little smoke produced, I tured off for about 1 hour, started her up and gave a little tap at the gas and still a little smoke is produced. What now?

Is it still the white smoke?

Is it smoking less now than before the procedure? (you mentioned that before your procedure it was smoking at idle. Is it smoking at idle now? Just trying to get a better grasp on what'* happening now).

Yes it still white smoke. Its kind of hard to say if it smokes at idle, because it smokes when it wants to. its odd, like some days she will smoke more then ever, other days she will barley smoke. I did the change today and at idle there was no smoke produced, and when I threw her in drive, I did not see any smoke with acc. but the again im checking from rear view and side mirrors so its hard to tail whats being pushed by air. I drove for about 30 mins and did not see any smoke, I parked it and let it sit at idle for a few mins and the gave the gas a little tap and some smoke was produced, its nowhere near as bad as befor I changed the UIM, and LIM gaskets. But its still the fact that there is still some smoke being produced.

It sounds like you've improved your situation with the uim/lim procedure.

However, and this a big however, you still appear to be leaking coolant into the combustion chambers. It'* been several days since your procedure and any residual coolant should be gone by now. You've done everything you could to give your engine a fighting chance.

I think you're going to have to tear down the manifolds and look critically at the gaskets and lower intake manifold for pinches, cracks, misalignments, etc. This isn't as bad as when you started, since you don't have to change oil, you can reuse your uim gasket, and you have the procedure fresh in mind (and maybe it won't rain ) (I don't know about reusing the LIM gasket -- it looks to me like the type that you could -- the aluminum framed type)

But I'm going to defer to Bill Boost for a much more experienced opinion. He will probably post in the morning and will give much more cogent comments than I can.

Check your coolant level religously.

And now..read this all the way through before doing anything. If you have been babying the car and barely driving it. It needs to be uh "cleaned out". As long as coolant isn't an issue....take it up on the highway and get a good 10-20 minute run in. Highway speeds will give you a little more heat etc than putting for a couple minutes. That may burn the rest of the junk out of you exhaust system.

Thats why this has been an issue as well, I pretty much drive on the highway alot, so it will give me a chance to clean her out, we will see what happens. I hope it comes to an end.

What questions would that be? If its the ones asked by Slug, the answers are:

Still white smoke.

Yes it is smokeing less now that I did all the changes.

It smokes at idle sometimes.

Sorry....thought I had asked if you've only driven it locally?
Have you taken it on the highway yet?
