This thread has been abandoned for 5 years, so it'* likely this is going to get broken off to its new post, or shut down

The label mentioned is the Service Parts Identification Label. It lists the vehicle VIN, as well as factory installed options by way of alphanumeric RPO (Regular Production Option) codes. AU0 happens to be one of the codes for remote keyless entry.

In the case of your LeSabre, the label is likely on the spare tire cover in the trunk, under the carpet.

If it'* the base model Custom keyless entry is an option. On the Limited it'* standard. My Olds 88 is the base model and doesn't have it either.

I have a 2002 LeSabre limited and it does not have 8 pin on obd2 port I tried the century and Park Ave procedure no luck either. I made a post here on forum small service / dealer i bought 2 fobs online 13.00 service dealer Buick gmc charged $25.00 for programming $38.00 out the door.

Please people. It is better to start your own thread and then insert a link to this thread into it. Its frowned upon when people reply to old threads because most old thread starters don't come around anymore. Plus, we have to re-read 2-3 pages of posts just to get caught up.
