Hey guys can the coolant temp be adjusted to 200 degrees in any way through tge pcm or changing something. Its a 95 ssei bonneville, i just think the fans kick on at 210-220 and i think its to hot. Any suggestions thanks.

Low speed fans kick on at 212, high speed at 226.

From the factory, you have a 195 thermostat. A tad warm IMO for summer time. I use a 180 in the summer and back to 195 in the winter.

I think you can send your PCM to have it reprogrammed, but not really worth it.

Either way, you will be fine.

A fan override may be a good move if you are concerned about it. The only time it should be using the fans is when the A/C is running, or stop and go.

Is it Supercharged, or NA? Also, 210-220 is exactly as designed, and there is absolutely nothing to worry about. NA would see no benefit from lower temps, and */C would only use it to hold off heatsoak as long as possible under extreme conditions (racing), but when they do it, it'* with a fan override.

What are your concerns, and what are you hoping to gain?

Sorry, I missed it was an SSEi. It'* a 1995, and I don't even know if anyone even flashes those anymore.
