Cool No AC thru dash vents

My 1997 Pont. Bonneville SSEi only has AC coming out thru floor and defrost vents. Any suggestions on how to get AC out of dash vents? When set to dash, no AC at all.

I am having similar trouble with my 98 SSEi. I bought a used HVAC programmer off e-bay and now I can get air to flow from the dash vents. The way
I understand it the programmer controls engine vacuum that opens and closes the dampers. look under the glove box at the programmer and make sure you have vacuum. I believe it is the orange tube or the pink one that has the incoming vaccuum. If you have incoming vaccuum check the hosses at teh connector to be sure yu don't have a blockage. Search ECC and you will find some really good info on thihs subject.

Whoops! I thought I searched on EEC but, when I double checked nothing came up. Search on programmer that will bring up lots of good info. There is a link called' AC programmer fix that I found helpful. Also try this link

ssei98: thanks for the feed back, I can't believe its been one year and I apologize for not thanking you sooner, my son in law got the AC working thanks to your help as I injured my back while attempting this fix last May. Body doesn't heal like the good old days.
