A/C takes 10 min. to blow from the dash vents
This seems like a weird one... couldn't find much when searching the 92-99 forums...
Just got back from a 10 day vacation. The HVAC worked fine when I left, but now the car has an issue blowing air from the panel vents. No matter what setting I choose on the ECC (manual or auto) the air only blows from the defrost and floor vents. But if I keep driving for a solid 10 minutes or more, the air flow gradually begins blowing out the panel vents harder and harder until it seems like it'* back to normal. The only catch is that if I shut the car off it resets itself and the problem occurs all over again. I would think this rules out a vacuum line since the panel vents are fully capable of working, but I can't say for sure.
All I did was leave the car parked for about 10 days... maybe she'* just jealous that I was in Iowa driving my dad'* white '02 for the week?

Ben..
You need to circumvent your collapsed nipples. Call Bob..promise beer and comradery, buy the vacuum line size he tells you and it'll be fixed right up.

IIRC the link to the fix etc is on page 6

First I went under the dash and disconnected two lines at the vacuum motors and put a different one on the AC dash vent door. I switched through the settings until one activated the motor. It moved quickly and easily with vacuum applied so I knew it was a problem with the vacuum line for the dash vent.

Thanks for the response, guys. I'll probably give Bob a call and see what he'* doing later this week, as I would like to get this issue fixed. Isn't it a bit odd that a problem like this would occur after the car had done nothing but sit in a parking lot for a week? That'* what I don't understand... :?

There'* many factors Ben..
It'* sort of like..why did your trunk that was fine for years finally crack?
Why does a tire suddenly pop with no reason?
It'* simply the time for it to fail.
