im not confused now. i know where the rod and screw is. i needed to know where this stuff was at and nobody was really helping as far as locating it. john tried but he didnt have any tools and randy pinpointed the issue as i had my flashlight ready after i pulled the glovebox cover and looked at the left hole of the black metal piece. the temp was already set at 60*. he then told me to set it at 90* and i should see it turn to the pass. side door. check! then he said bring it back to 60*, and it should face the driver side seat. negative. it only moved for 2 seconds and it was facing the black metal bar. thats when i just put that cardboard piece from the hanger and put it on top hold it in that position until i can get in there. until then, i wont cut the temp up to 90* so i wont break it and when it gets hot, the air will be ready and cold once i cut the ECC on.
