can somebody PLEASE tell me, why the HELL im starting to see our cars (mostly gp'*) starting to be swapped to 5spds? isnt this why gp'* were invented to be high performance luxury CRUISERS that just so happen they have high torque for such a low price yet lots of styling? dont these people realize that automatics can handle more torque than a stick, less moving parts thus making them less likely to break, plus looking at quite a few dragsters that ive seen automatic? (well i dont know if all that above is true i just heard that stuff from random people) i mean me personally i dont like stick at all what so ever, in fact i think driving stick very feminine. id describe why but its a george carlin joke (very dirty xxx wise) that he made me think so clearly when i heard him talk about it. anyways sry for the venting i just dont like this so called "mod" at all. thats just my 2 pennies.

Well, the turbo is an automatic. But as soon as I find a 5spd setup, it'* gone. There is a lot of parasitic power loss when using an automatic. And manual trans have FAR fewer moving parts and electronics than a automatic. They are typically much more reliable.

I don't see the GTP ever getting a 5spd. It'* the wife'* car though.
