I say this a lot, because its from experience, but my crank sensor went bad on my 94 and had the same problems as you.

That'* another option.

Default Crank sensor location

My guy Dan is giving up on my Bonneville. I guess I'll fix it myself. Where would the crank sensor be located. I found the ICM, but I'd rather replace both the ICM and Crank Sensor.
Thank you guys,
Jeannie

Check for gas at the vacuum source for the fuel pressure regulator, otherwise I'd guess it to be the crank sensor.

Default The engine has fuel going to it.

The engine has fuel going to it. All the pressure reading are good. The crank sensor is where? I don't mean to be a bother, but I need my car running. Thank you guys,
Jeannie

Behind the crank pulley. Still, check for gas leaking into the vacuum source at the FP regulator.

Please check for codes before shotgunning or checking anything else. The codes may tell you EXACTLY what'* wrong.

Please pull codes and tell us what you find. http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/?article=34

Better still! IMO, you need a professional to check this out. I see this WAY too many times with the big rigs in my shops.

This is actually a very basic problem. I think the codes, if any will point us in the right direction. The lack of codes can too

I know, I've owned about 6 3800 engined vehicles over the years. They can be fussy when these electrical issues occur!
