Default My '93 Bonneville Won't start at times

I have a '93 Bonneville SSE, Tuned Port Injection, and after it'* been driven awhile it'll stall and won't start. Or, if I go somewhere and turn the car off, when I get back it won't start. I'll have to wait a few hours and it'll start like nothing is wrong. I took it to 2 shops and they can't find anything wrong with it. It'll start and run just fine. Any help would be great. Thanks, Dan

have the ICM (ignition Control Module) which is located underneith the coil packs tested. Sounds like classic symptoms of its failure. They often cease to work when they get hot when they're bad.

If that wasn't a FI car I'd say it was vapor locking.

Checked your fuel pressure?

When this happens is there less than 1/3 gas left in the tank? The 93'* seem to have a problem with the sender regulator when fuel levels drop below 1/3 tank.

All this happens when the car gets hot. The last time it happened my wife turned a corner and the car stalled.

have you checked for any codes, there are a few things that we have learned, with the stalling issue. It could be a possible bad cam or crank sensor causing your issues

it doesnt account for the stalling issue, but i had a bad ground that was causing my stuff not to start all the time.... cleaned off the corrosion and it took care of it.

it woudn't hurt to clean up some of the connections

Default I have same prob

I went to lunch parked...... came back 5 min later and car wouldn't start.......

sometimes it'll turn over but not start

then more recently when I turned the key it did nothing....... said check gauages, check engine, security (I tried my spare key so I knew it wasn't my key being dirty and that did nothing)

then all of a sudden a few minutes later it started...... the whole couple minutes I was trying and nothing was happening

figured I'd add to this but if people feel it'* much different I'll start a new thread....

thanks.
