Default Middle Console Lights Aren't Working Right....

Hey Guys,.,., I got a 97 SSEI... The middle console (Normal & Performance Shift, Performance & Touring Ride and Traction Control) buttons with lights aren't working properly. The Ride controls (Touring & perforance) lights both come on after I start the car... and doesn't ever change... but when I select one, I can feel the suspension difference.
The traction control is fine.. But the Shift Buttons (Normal & Performance) dont work at all.. I dont know if the bulb is out (which I doubt.) But the Lovely and caring Dealership (sarcastic tone) told me there is nothing they can do for me other than order another middle console piece. After I got one from the Junk Yard... it had the same exact problems....

Any Advice...... as much explaination as possible would be great..... Thankx....

Both ride control lights being on at the same time indicates a problem in the electonically controlled suspension. It means that the computer has stored an error code, and you should take it to a place that has a scanner and knows how to use it.

I'm not sure about the shift lights.

Your CCR struts are reporting a problem. Also, the LEDs/bulbs may be burned out on some of your other switches.
