I've never heard of this.....sorry for jumping in a little late. Your traction light will be unrelated. You most likely have a wheel speed sensor going out. Are the wires routed in the factory location? I'd be really curious abou that since it'* happened twice now.
The only thing I can think of is that your nosedrive unit on the SC is running hot. If you took some temp measurements after driving around for 30 minutes or so, we could make some comparisons.

What kind of temps should I see? As for routing this is the only SSEI I've had and there rare around here so I have not been able to look about to tell if it was correct. I repaired both wire bundles at the same time cause the wires have the same kind of jacket they all would be prone to failing. It reminds me of Kapton coating that we no longer in planes because it caused too many shorts. I have routed the bundle over the top in the stock wire holder that on the charger. Would this wheel sense cause some kind of code to set? I have one of the OBD1 with the OBD 2 hook up cars. I love the worst of both worlds.
