Default Melted tails

Funny story , I am a steeelworker and after work I went to the parking lot and noticed my car was warm from hot steel slabs on the other side of the fence, looked back and saw my tail lights melted.Anyways got security as the company will claim it under insurance, but how the heck will this work out.It is my 90 sse where do I get tails from , will they be new if so where can you get them for a 90, or do I have to wait till another set shows up at the yard.I would have been real pissed if it was my 00sssei.Just started driving the 90 to work again this week.Just wondering how this will work out.r

Each used SSE tail in good condition can run you well over $200.....

I know steel can stay hot for several days after production. I know I would definately be parking somewhere else

Yes work will pick it up,hve to talk to them this week but I was wondering how I will replace them as you cant just go buy 90 sse tails at dealer probably. It happened last night so I havent talk to work insurance not sure what they will do,Its a big company called Dofasco.

Dbeast- there is usually a tin wall that blew off the fence,People have been parking there for years so have I with no ill effects.

ah, Dofasco.

I'd have been more pissed that it was the 90 - not because I own one, but because sourcing out a new taillight will now be a *big* pain. 2000+ should be easy as cake.

You can check your local junkyards, you can get one if you're very very very lucky. Otherwise, fork it out on eBay

Thanks for keeping an eye out.I just found the 1 and only set of sse tails around, I had a collision guy calling all around yards and I found a set in good shape but right side has a thin line about 3" across middle , 120 bucks my work paid.Bonny is very happy to have the sse back on as the melted ones were se ones I replaced about 3 months ago.So I am happy.thanks
