****, I don't have time to pull everything up! I'm gonna fix the problem and do my best to dry the affected area. Shampoo the carpet. But I don't have the ******* time to do all that! ****... Is there an alternative? My car doesn't smell, btw, so maybe it'* just limited to the area in question. Damnit...
The carpet is rather easy to pull up in the footwell areas. Maybe prop it up and direct a fan into these areas?
I had a Z28 once upon a time and left the T-tops off one night and it rained like hell. I could have put goldfish in the rear footwells. The above mentioned procedure worked well for me in this case. I let the fan run for two days, one day for each side, and all was dry. If your padding is very saturated, I don't know if this will help.
Definately correct the problem before it repeats or gets worse. I remember reading recently a thread on an airbag deployment blamed on corroded wires/connectors on an under-seat airbag module (96 & up??)

It'* only in the rear footwells, though. No where else, except it seems as though it'* running down along the back seats into the rear footwells. I don't think I need to worry about corroding wires or anything like that then, right? I hope so... me and my dad will figure out something. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it
