series 1 supercharged coolant leaks to watch out for?

Have any of you experienced a coolant leak on a series 1 supercharged engine?

Yes, there is a plastic piece of pipe, I think it'* near or above the water pump. It tends to melt. You should replace it with a metal one if it melts.
