I have reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. I drove the car for a while and no light and the cruise worked, but now we are back to square one. It is the same code and I am at a loss for what to do next....

I don't think we are at square one. I think we need to combine your overheating thread and this one.

The quad you are mentioning is for overheat issues.

Have you tried burping the system when it'* cold as well as hot? (pretend I have experience with the worlds worst air boundness)

As in purging when cold? No, I didn't know that was possible. how do I do that? Just open the bleed screw?

Open bleed screw, and rad cap..add to rad as necessary.

We need a scan to see if your PCM temperature reading matches the gauge. If the PCM ECT is bad, the PCM will think you're running hotter than you really are.

Well I replaced both sensors for the temp, the one for the gauge and the one for the computer. I would assume they are correct becuase as I watch the temp climb, I can see my oil pressure go down, and as well all know the pressure is higher when cold....... If there I have bought a new RAD. cap to try that and will put it on before going home tonight, if that doesn't work, i guess I will take it in and have it scanned......
