Default intermittent problem ..... car Dies under hard accereration

I've got this intermittent problem ..... the car Dies under hard accereration. I mean it shuts right off. Thought it might be the CAM postion sensor... changed that out but didn't solve the problem. Can drive it all day if I dont step on it hard. When does die I have to stop, Put the car in park and turn the key off and then it starts right up.
Fuel pressure is 43PSI under load.

Crank Position sensor???

Have you replaced your fuel filter lately? I'd start there, if not.

Default problem

I don't think I would have 43 PSI pressure if filter was plugged........

You can have pressure without volume. It'* cheap. If you haven't changed it lately, you aren't out anything if it isn't the problem.

Edit - "Under load" - was that at WOT on the road?

Odd how that darn crank sensor does that. We've seen a few that simply die. Odd that it was only doing it at WOT
