Default Maybe a problem under hard acceleration

When I accelerated hard the car shutters pretty bad and seems to stutter a bit. The check engine light also flashes for 15-30 seconds after a hard acceleration. It is a 2000 ssei and I have had it only a few days thnks again.

Ok.. can you go to a local autozone and get the car scanned. it should have a stored code.

Meanwhile, mileage on the car?
Last tune up if known?
Any known issues with the car when you bought it?

EDIT...second thought.. do you think maybe the computer is holding you back with it'* programming from spinning the tires? You have programming built in called Torque Management. It can hold you back and traction control can make odd noises combined..they might seem like a problem...

93000 miles
I have had it for 2 days
dont know if the dealer tuned it up
I also smell burning oil, when I looked at the car it was coming from the fromt and smoking on the header they replaced the front gasket and cleaned it off. On the ride home I smelled oil again and it looks like the same gasket but in the rear is leaking some. I had a ford proble and had to replace the front and rear I guess you call then manifold gaskets? Is this the issue as well thnks again

that was what i was thinking, when my cat was clogged, the exhaust would leak out of the manifold gaskets and DP flange gasket and smell like *** up front
