No true , I know guys in New York City who only have direct-bolt-on'* and are still passing emmisions and they are doing low 13'*. It'* all in the way ya shift man!

Yeah....... The fastest Civic'* N/A with bolt on'* will be the 88-91 CRX'* because they weight the least.

Anyways, it depends if its a Civic DX,CX,LX,or EX. The EX has the SOHC VTEC which is the D16 engine while the Civic SI'* have the B16A which is DOHC VTEC. But I dont know that off the top of my head... nah.. But Civic'* only have a chance against our cars on the fwy when they are already up to speed and can downshift into their power band. And only Civic'* with lots of bolt on'* can actually keep up or rarely beat us.

But don't think that all rice is slow. There are some guys who just dont spend their money on the outside and actually do engine work. You can get a 88-91 CRX, put a JDM B18C, or a H22A, or a hybrid mixing B18C and B16A components to get low end toruqe and high end breathing. But that combo of engines will result in the CRX running 12'* N/A because its so light. So be careful kiddie'*.
