Honda Civic
It depends. What does the civic have??? What year is it and trim line? Is it still stock? and what kind of Bonneville do you have? 92, 95. 97, se, sse, ssei, and so forth.
I think stock for stock a SE could beat a civic but I can't say for sure without knowing more details.

I highly doubt he can beat ya on a 1/4 mile.. not without so massive twin turboed intercooled NOS pumpin action.. ( and in which case... I would've simply ask 2 things.. 1. now that he'* basically topped out.. its your turn for some mods 2. After spending all that money... why didn't he just go out and get a real car to start off with like the Bonnevile ??? DUMB *** !!!!! )
The only way is on a tight track with hairpins everywhere..

Just remember guys (and gals)---
It'* not the horsepower that leaves the line...
that just keeps you going,
it'* the Torque the moves Bonnezilla...
and it'* our job to eat the rice!

I have only 170hp (older 3800) and have never lost to any of the literally dozens of Civics I have raced. I used to street race and I had a lot of fun beating ricers with a "grandma" car.
The only way I think a Civic could pose a threat to you is if he was seriously modded, IE. he had a power adder (nitrous, JRSC etc) or an engine swap. But lightly modded they're still 17 second slugs.
