Pioneer is what I got through Advance seemed inferior in quality to the Napa one. (Not sure what brand).
Although in my experience that absorbing strut also acts as a stop or limiter. I removed it to clear my headers and with a mere 3.4 pulley and FWI (new trans) it tore in about ... mmmm (Gonneville chime in here) I think it was about a millisecond.
I hope that the 92-93 is made better or as some of you guys think about going with that due to a cheaper alternative... you may find your total cost over time is higher.
For over six months..my modified mount has held all the power of my previous mods, an added cam etc and all kinds of new found power. I checked the other day while on a lift and the rubber has not seperated on my mount at all.

I didn't go to the dealer I just called one of the guys I know there and told them the "front Trans mount" and that'* what I was quoted $280 List, $220 trade.
I'm 99% sure that he quoted me correctly these guys have never made a mistake with me yet, which is why I use them instead of a dealer thats closer to me.
I just called them again while I was writing this, and was quoted the same price by another one of my friends that works there.
He said that the price gets marked up as it crosses the boarder and changes hands.
He also mentioned that these are the original GM mounts not Delco.
Wanna here something funny he told me the rear Trans mount is $700 List.
I guess everyone wants a cut, what else is new.

Well now I know that if I need a mount any time soon, I'll be making a run for the border and buying one south of the 49th.

What a major PITA.
So its all done 2 mounts later.
Anyone who does this job in the future or is thinking of doing this job stay away from the Corteco brand (made in China).
The problem with this brand is that the metal plate that mounts to the Tran housing is not bent properly so that it doesn't sit flat against the mounts, to allow the bolts to align.
The bottom left corner is not bent enough to clear the bell housing, which holds the mount out of alignment.
I went to Napa after discovering this and their mount (made in Taiwan) fit like a glove and was around the same price ($50). I asked but they had no idea who manufactures that mount.
All done no more lift on the front end on acceleration.
Thanks for the help,
Dutch
