Canister evap purge valve right? It is located on the back of my 97, behind the alternator. Looks like a rectangular black box 1.5" x 1" with 2 vacuum lines and one electrical connector. I'd assume yours would also be there, the L36 or NA crowd got them on the front of the motor IIRC.

nope vent valve i heard its somewhere close to the gas tank? but im not sure

Your year...maybe. I know on the 97..there is no valve back by the tank. Only a vent tube.

The vent solenoid is in the rear on the 2000+ models.
