I had a battery that was eating the terminal bolt quickly..... Replaced the battery, 'cause didn't know what else to do... Left the old one on garage floor and a couple of weeks later noticed a drop of liquid near that terminal.

The damn thing was leaking acid between the plastic case and the terminal.]
