Default Camshaft Position Sensor

I have put my car on a dianostic scanner several times and I keep getting code 18 and code 41. I have found the sensor at the store but where is it on the car. I have a 93 SE. I try to do all the work myself and my haynes manuel doesn't show where it is located. So can someone tell me where it is at or send a picture showing it?

The cam sensor is just down & to the rear of the water pump. Take a mirror & a flashlight down the right side of the engine. You should clearly see the connector just below & aft of the water pump.

Replaced mine (*/C 92) without removing any belts but it was REALLY difficult to get the O-ring to fully seat without damage. If I were doing it again I actually would have saved about 1/2 hour if I'd removed the outer belt first.

Be careful not to lose or damage the bolt. They want $16 for it. Can't understand that; doen't look like a special size, length, or anything.

Good luck.
