Markwb'* comments about solenoids and pressure tranducers spooked me, so I called my brother today and he has a mechanic friend that works on a LOT of GM cars (has scan tools, maunuals, etc.). He is going to take a look at it on Monday to diagnose. I'll let you all know what he comes up with.

Update. Good news/bad news. Good news. Brother'* friend could find nothing wrong. Checked vacuum, gas cap, some other basic tests...found nothing. Suspects an actuator or valve possibly was sticking that is not sticking now. Cleared codes and check engine light. Said drive around a few days to see if the code comes back and I will bring it to him again right away. Since, I have put about 60 miles on with out lighting the check engine. Bad news is (at the moment anyway), I don't have any good info to share with others with the same code and I don't know why it threw the code in the first place. I'll let you know in a couple more days.

FInal update. Since I got it back last Monday, no check engine light, no codes, no problems. I appreciate everybodys help. Again sorry I couldnt nail down the problem for someone else in the future.

180* drilled T-stat goes on later today. Forecast = 111*-113* in Phoenix. Gutted airbox next weekend.
