The lower dash trim is push clips as you think. Gently pull and work your way around it. The trim around the cluster then comes out with one screw under the cig lighter and one under the headlight switch...three across the top. (torx 15 IIRC). Remove the **** from the swtich via the little clip on the back of the ****..push it toward the front and it releases. Then the headlight switch is 3 more screws, wiggle strategically and it will come out the front w/o any other unhooking.

I dont know about the keyless entry , I didnt get any remotes . But there is a sensor bubble up near the windsheild in the dash near the center
Yes with the doors locked, if you pull any of the front door handles the interior lights should come on... If they do this car has Illuminated entry as well as retained accessory... If you turn on the ignition on with all of the doors closed, and then shut the ignition off does everything shut off right away? If your car has illuminated entry, you will also have Retained Accessory as well... Everything will stay on for 10 minutes or until you open a door..

Might be among a few things to check...But like Bill Boost said its important that you check that Light switch as the Twilight switch for 1995 had some issues that would melt the switch connector and wires... a series of 95'* were recalled for this issue..

That Bubble is part of the Twilight system IIRC.. Also to determine if the car has keyless entry look on the spare tire cover for the Regular Production Options list, look for the Code AU0 <----- That would be the code for the keyless entry system..

Let us know how you make out on the headlamp switch..
Well heres a lil update , The car did used to have keyless entry ( now how do I get it back? ) also the headlight swtich appears to be fine , no burning at all . However the twilight sentinel still dont work, is there anything else I can look at for this ? Before I go buy a headlight switch.
the killing of the battery was just the lighted visisr on the DS not shutting off.

Thr trans is a diffrent issue . I was told it needs rebuilt they said that the issue with it slipping into OD was internal. I am gonna try for a second opinion though .

whats the basic price on getting one of these transmissions rebuilt anyway?
