with new oil and plugs a few times, as well as the gaskets etc, cost me over 400.00 so far, im going back over the torque speqs now.

be careful not to swap inch #* with foot #*. thats a common misshap that can really ruin a weekend.

if one of the lower inside intake bolts were loose, could that put the coolentup into the plenum?

where the stove pipe goes into the upper plenum, i can see that throttle body gasket, does this mean my plenum is screwd? could this be my problem its all melted inside there
?

Yep, that upper is toast. And it is certainly leaking coolant. That'* why we wanted to know if you had changed the upper intake. The UIM we recommend is gonna set you back about $115 delivered to you from APN. That is a kit that includes the UIM gasket, o-rings, brake booster vacuum fitting, new top for the PCV chamber, and two reduced diameter stovepipes for your LIM. (You would use the pipe with the larger base.)

If, by now you are out of money, and if you have the time, you can repair the perforated upper yourself with a stainless steel sleeve and JB weld using the method described here for about $25. http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=33565
