chg 02 sensor w/o check eng lite on ?? What wrench ?
Ok I have 169k on the 98 Bonnie and think my mpg is off slightly. I have NEVER chgd the 02 but if its faulty wouldn't it turn on the Check Engine Lite ? Wheres the best palce and best brand to buy ? What socket needed to take out deep well ??

It'* about time to change it ACDelco is the recommended brand,stay away from BOSCH!!!!! They make O2 sensor sockets. I paid 11.00 for mine at Advance. It is a 7/8 deep waeel with a slot in the side for the wire to hang out of. IMO it was worth it.

Why are there two different topics on this?
Change your O2. They rarely if ever throw a light. Use a crescent wrench. Works fine. Use AC Delco only.
