anyone know how to check torque wrench calibration?
i was organizing my tools and what do i find? somebody cranked my $300 1/4" torque wrench to maximum i dont know how long it sat that way but i have a good idea about who did it, interrogations will begin shortly enough, but in the mean time, does anyone know how i could check calibration without sending it off to matco? i was thinking using another torque wrench that is known good and comparing them on a bolt

That'* about the only way I could think to do it, but I prolly still wouldn't trust it. I'd be much more satisfied with sending it to Matco and having them replace the spring or verify the calibration on it.

I'm not sure how much calibration cost, but for the cost of shipping, you can send it to me and I can check calibration for you.
