Default car wont start!!!!!!!!

ok, went to leave work the other day and the car would not start at all!!!!
I tried for about an hour and would not do anything...... so i toke it to my machanic, i guess it turned out that the security thats on are keys got ***** of and so did the cylinder (explains why the security light was on for a month) so its been in the shop for about a week cause eveytime the try to fix it something else goes wrong with it

So it cost me about 150 dollars just for the key and cylinder for this car ....... i still dont understand why they would ever put securitys on keys, its just another thing to go wrong....

Please remember that you drive a flagship car in a vehicle lineup. It came with all the features available at the time. The downside is things will break. $150 is not that bad, and if the biggest problem is the key and the VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System) then its really not that bad

You can bypass the VATS if you want. Mine is bypassed because of my remote starter. Don't know if we want to discuss the details on how to do it tho...
