Default 93 SSEi wont start(please help i need this car to run)

I put the key in the igniton but it will not budge at all, i tried wiggling the steering around to see if that would unlock the key cylinder, no luck, also the car will go into gear now without touching the brake and without the key being in the igniton. It just did this tonight when i went to start it. Whats wrong?!
thanks

We need alittle more info, I think. Is the key all the way in? Is there any noticeable damage, like someone tried to jam something in there? Keep us updated.

Sounds mechanical - There is something connected to the gear shifter that disables the ignition key unless the car is in the right gear. Try starting in neutral.

at 10 am i had it towed to Kipp Scott Pontiac Buick. They called me telling me theres a linkage between the igniton switch and shifter, they fixed it and now scanned my ABS system to see whats up with it and why it doesn t work, the guy says it looks like its the ABS and Traction Control Module what ever that might be anyways its like $900 for the part so this one will put a good dent in the wallet...

Note that your starting problem has nothing to do with an ABS/TC problem. Tell 'em to fix the steering column so you can get back on the road, _then_ worry about shopping around for the best price on ABS/TC repairs.
