Hey! Disconnect the power to the relay on the antenna ASAP!

You'll need to see if the worm gear is slipping (Which I doubt), the wire popped out of the reel (Only ever seen it happen once) or if the wire is broken (Bet that'* it).

You may just want to replace the antenna though...

I think I'll take some pics of how to rebuild a power antenna next time I rebuild mine, It'* stuck up right now too...

The relay should be at the power antenna. You'll see a little black cube connected to the side of it.

What are things to look for on one that'* stuck down?

I might just go to a flexible, rigid mast! The less gadgets the better!!

I'd look into checking the power, and correct operation of the relay of one that is down. If those check out it'* probably dirty inside.

I pulled it up after the key was turned on (basically just gave it a nudge and it took right off). It'* been working now for the past day. What'* the best lubricant to lubricate it?

Default lube

Try WD-40 its a light lubricant that works well on antennas.

Gte some Silicon or Graphie spray. Do not use WD40, that stuff gets sticky when it dries.

In a pinch, a verly light coat of Vaseline will work, too. (Don't lie!! We know you got some!!)

LOL! I plead the 5th!

I've heard that WD40 is not good to use also. I'll try some graphite.

Thanks for the replies.
