Acceleration Hesitation and Cutting out 94 Bonneville SE
I am a newbie to this site, who is having some intermittent acceleration and hesitation problems with my 94 Bonneville SE. It is stock and currently has 375,000 kms. Most recently, I have been experiencing a periodic acceleration and cutting of problem. It normally happens after the car has been driven for over 20 minutes. Basically it comes and goes when ever it wants. When it happens, I lose the ability to accelerate, and have to wait for the car to cut out before I can restart, or I get lucky and it responds to giving it more gas. However even though I give it gas, it does not have the ability to accelerate. So far I have changed the fuel pump, which was resolved the cutting of problem. I have also replaced the MAS, which unfortunately did not resolve my issues. Can anyone provide any solutions to my problem?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome ....
Have you checked the usual plugs and wire, vacuum leaks etc?
If so.. we might start thinking about your PCM. Oddities like you describe could be ...and they are tough to narrow down. It usually ends up being a matter of ...nothing else is possible..let'* try the pcm.

Ok, I did check the plugs, wires and vacum. All look good.
Yet to check the PCM. Had an friend do an analysis on it, and now he is saying it is a faulty crank sensor. Is this a possibiltiy? What are they symptoms of a faulty crank sensor. Apparently it is difficult to change.
