My AC stopped cooling few weeks ago.
Today I checked it and when it'* on compressor clutch pulsing -5sec on/5 sec off .
Pressure is rising to 45 Psi during those 5 sec on showing normal charge and it'* just like blowing outside air without cooling it.
1995 SSEi.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

One more question.
So is it normal for compressor to work this way, pulsing on and off every few second or it'* must be engaged all the time untill desired temperature is reached?
I connected Actron scanner and reading real data shows AC request on and off every 5 sec same as clutch engaging?
I don't know if AC request suppose to be on all the time too.
Thanks

So where do I start to look?
Is it that pressure cycling switch or could be PCM?
In addition to that I recently started having high idle speed which goes to normal after slight kick on gas pedal while parking. I thought it might be vacuum issue which affect AC and idle because it started at the same time.
A month or so ago I tried to swap PCM to solve misfire issue (Billiboost sent me one to try) and maybe I touched something under dash what is related to AC so it doesn't work now.
Just my bunch of theories at this point.

I bought that recharging can with gauge and set it as instruction reads :
Low cooling temp,AC on and when clutch is on pressure goes up to 45 Psi and when it reach that poin clutch turns off and pressure drops to 20 something, but according to service manual clutch must disengage when pressure actually drops to 22PSi
So in my case it looks like it'* doing opposite.
Just doesn't make any sense.
Anyway thanks for replying.

I hooked it to the low pressure service port.
The problem I didn't notice first the cap on recharging can didn't sit tight.
I finally managed to empty can into the system and everything works fine now.
Problem solved.
Thanks everybody who replied.
