My 3rd light isnt working all the time, once in a while it will show me that the 3rd light is not working then i drive a little more and it goes on then again off then again on i think it might be a connection somewhere i just dont know whether its the wires or the bulb holder. i nkow its not the bulb i had already changed it

Make sure you use the right bulb. I was in a situation where the only bulb available was an RV 12 volt bulb with the same base. Damn light monitor knew the difference even though the light worked

Other than that, just check your connections. If you used the right bulb (1156) then you can only check your connections.

Been there; done that; got the T-shirt. It'* the socket, not the bulb. Lie in the trunk, get the socket out, remove the bulb, and look _real_ carefully at the contacts, especially (in my case, anyway) the side ones. One of mine had gotten bent a little out of shape, and apparently body flex while driving was just enough to break the connection every now and then.

If you rework the contacts just a teensy bit for a snug grip on the bulb, it should be fine.

great just what i was thinking of doing i tried once by putting in foil but that didnt work cuz as i found out few days later my whole brake system was out due to burned out fuse. Thnx ill try that out cuz the side contact actually is broken on mine so i hope foil will fix ne one know how much the socket costs?

use a soldering iron, they work alot better than anything else you can possibly do to it, short of replacing the wiring.
